Magnolia Sewing Circle

It was a very chilly day for us Southerners. I wonder if that had anything to do with our small turn out for our monthly sewing circle.IMG_3803

We still had warm fellowship around the quilting frame. Can you tell that yours truly is left handed?
And the children had fun playing together, both inside and outside. IMG_3783

Here’s Evie binding a comforter.

Cheryl sewed nine patch blocks together for a comforter top.IMG_3786

Veronica cut out alternate squares for the nine patch blocks …IMG_3794

… and then helped with the sewing.

Looks like a great sewing day! How lovely to have everyone working on the quilt together. Beautiful photo!

I wish so much that we had a sewing circle like this! That cutie pie, Ashton, was wearing different shoes -- my little guy can never seem to keep his shoes together either!! How funny :)

Oh, Julia, how sweet to see the Magnolia sewing circle! The quilt ya'll were working on is lovely. I'd love to see more of the sewing circle days. I enjoy the taste of home I get from your blog. Keep up the good work!

Quite a productive sewing day! I spotted "the leftie" right away as I'm one, too. You have to plan where you sit down there on the end to accommodate. Love the photo of all around the frame.
