Ghost Quilting

I took a quilting class in Jackson recently with Ms. Martha Ginn as my teacher.

She had each of us cut out a 6”X6” piece of focus fabric and fuse it to a larger piece of border or background fabric.
Then in class she gave us ideas on how to quilt the center piece and extend the quilting into the large border.

Great pictures, Julia! I enjoyed the class as much as you students did, and I was so pleased with the pieces you all created. I hope you find lots of opportunities to do ghost quilting again.
